finally, i now have the 2nd album of the one of my today's "best bands". 2nd album, yet i don't have the 1st album. it was the 1st album i ordered and requested for. but only 2nd album was able to afford. but still, the electricity flows in new wave. the electric is within...

and so i claimed the CD i ordered last march 31 of this year.
above is the Electrico CD, 2nd album "hip city". with the tag price.

ako po si peso, taga-novaliches. sumulat po ako sa inyo
tungkol sa bandang "elctrico" ng singapore.
matagal ko na silang sinusubaybayan, nung 1st time ko silang
makita sa MTV (runaway video). pero wala talaga akong makuhang
album nila (since hindi pa sila nakarelease dito).
then i checked on their site,nakita ko yung tracklist nung
bagong album nila - yung last track, ginawa pala with your
collaboration. at dahil gusto ko talagang maka-avail ng kopya
nung parehong albums nila, gusto ko sanang malaman kung pwede
akong maka-avail nung dalawang albums nila through your band.
nabanggit na rin kasi sa akin dati nung isa nilang member na
friend daw nila ang rivermaya, at kayo lang daw ang tanging
contact nila dito.
yun lang naman. may iba pa kayang paraan para maka-avail ng
albums nila, maliban sa pagpuntang singapore?

yes, that was last march. ms lizza nakpil, rivermaya's manager, replied that it was so exactly that they will be going to singapore during the holy week, so she'll just inform me if she can be able to buy a copy for me.
she mailed me sometime during may, that she already had my CD's copy, and gave me instructions on how to claim it. she also referred me to ms. abby (her secretary). sa kanya daw ako makipag-ugnayan since busy siya (ms. nakpil) all the time.
and at this point, maraming salamat kay ms. abby sa pag-assist sa mga tanong ko, sa pagbibigay nung address at tips kung pano pumunta sa office nila. hindi ko po buburahin ang number mo. txt tau! sana po magkita pa tayo. =D
and so, my birthday came (0926). i txtd ms. abby if i can be able to claim it on friday (0928). she said she doesn't know yet. i asked myself why. she said she wasn't able to tell ms. nakpil about it 'coz ms. nakpil still wanted to meet me then.
i told her, the coming friday would be the BEST day to claim it since it's my birthday that day i txtd her. she told me it was a coincidence, that 0926 was also ms. nakpil's birthday, together with the other rivermaya staff. she told me too, "happy birthday".
that day, i celebrated my birthday.
0928, 10:30 am, i read ms. abby's txt whose original transcript appeared above. i asked my mom's help, and so we RUSHED to ayala that afternoon, together with the plan to submit my last two application in the now-going-down CAP.
around 4:30 that afternoon, i came to the office and greeted ms. abby "good morning", which made me feel ashamed. she's so nice. really. that's why i would still txt her. =D
mam lizza's there, but as ms. abby said, she would not be able to meet me since she's busy. after signing, i got the CD, scotchly-taped from a small brown pandesal package, the price's still tagged on, the plastic hardly sealed. for almost a complete 6 months, i waited for the CD to be listened to, and in return the CD waited for its passionate listener.
i mailed ms. lizza this afternoon, and immediately received her reply this evening.
i told her thanks, and greeted her belatedly. i told her i am ready and eager to pay for it, but the way she gave it to me FOR FREE really made me happy. i told her i'll surely play the CD out loud, and that it would be difficult for me to even lend it to anyone since the CD is not released in the philippines and only few i think has a copy here. i told her rivermaya did a very good collaboration with electrico, very good yet rico had just to leave the band. i told her to continue rocking and rolling... with the red and the white, and the yellow, and the blue.
in return, she greeted US a happy birthday. "looks like there was a reason why iwent out of my way to get you the cd :)", according to her. she told me she was really hoping she'll meet me but our schedules just won't go. she even thanked ms. abby. and i thank ms. abby too. =D

i haven't told electrico about the news that i got their album now. i've been mailing them on how to avail their first album, but no reply replied. maybe the only thing to do is to master COBOL/CICS so i can go to singapore by myself. just for the album... just for the music... quite shallow. but no.
but in all ways, i'll rock and roll just the way they do...
